Kagura-san is a device for moving large stones and trees. It consists of pillars arranged in a square shape, a thick log is erected in the center as a rotation axis, and a rope is wound to move heavy objects.
In the old days, there were no winches or heavy machinery, so this kind of device was used.
The photo is a diorama of the stone quarrying work displayed at the Takamatsu City Stone Folklore Museum. The device with the rope on the right is the kagura-san.

I don't know why the device has "Kagura" in its name. If anyone knows please let me know.
