This is a wooden carved mask used in Bitchu Kagura, an Important Intangible Cultural Property of Japan.
This demon-like mask represents Takeminakata no Mikoto, a powerful god who appears in Japanese mythology.
This product comes with an unpainted mask. It is a product that allows you to experience coloring.
A photo of the finished product is included. You can complete it exactly as shown in the sample, or you can color it according to your own ideas.
