These gods are a married couple with strong ties in Japanese mythology. Things related to these two gods are said to bring benefits such as a happy marriage, conceiving a child, an easy delivery, and a good match.
These papier-mache kagura masks are handmade from paper clay made from used paper. The masks are delivered with the primer coating with gofun (a type of powdered pigment) and the drying process completed, so you can experience painting the face with paints right away. Please refer to the finished product and the manual while painting.

Paints necessary for painting are not included in the set because they cannot be transported.

Masks for painting are delivered with gofun, a base coating, already applied. Please paint with watercolors or acrylics.

This mask is for decoration. You can hang the string attached to the top of the mask on a pin or hook to decorate it.

All masks are handmade. No two masks are exactly alike. Please note that there may be slight differences between the photo and the actual product.
