Transform your everyday space into a sanctuary of tea.
The meticulous craftsmanship of traditional "Kumiko" meets the tranquil spirit of "Sado" (The Way of Tea), resulting in a collection of tools for the modern era.

A Screen, a Hexagonal Tray, and a Cake Stand. By simply arranging these three tools, any tabletop or small space is instantly transformed into your own private tea room. Enjoy a modern tea ritual while surrounding yourself with the beauty of Japanese tradition.

What's in the Set

Kumiko Screen

1. Kumiko Screen (Kekkai)

This screen acts as a "Kekkai"—a traditional boundary that defines and purifies the space. Can also be wall-mounted as a flower vase by removing the legs.

Hexagonal Tray

2. Hexagonal Tray (Stage)

A "stage" that beautifully elevates your tea ware or sweets. Ideal for practicing tea ceremonies or serving as a decorative platter.

Cake Stand

3. Cake Stand (Omotenashi)

The combination of natural wood and iron adds verticality and rhythm to your table, enhancing the celebratory feel of any gathering, whether serving wagashi or pastries.

*Each piece is handcrafted by artisans. As natural wood is used, grain and color may vary from the photos.
*Visual guides are available in Japanese, English, and French. Please specify your preferred language in the order notes. If not specified, we will include the Japanese version for domestic orders and the English version for international orders.
*Gift wrapping and guides shown in photos are for illustrative purposes and may vary slightly.

Limited Launch Bonus

a complimentary set of "2 Made-in-Japan Glass Plates" for the cake stand.

FAQ

Is the Kumiko woodcraft fragile?
While it looks delicate, the traditional joinery technique (without nails) provides the necessary strength for daily use. However, please avoid dropping it or applying excessive force.
How should I care for the wood?
Wipe lightly with a dry cloth for regular cleaning. To prevent staining from liquids like coffee, wipe immediately with a tightly wrung damp cloth if a spill occurs. We recommend using plates to prevent direct contact between moisture and the wood surface.
Is gift wrapping available?
Yes, all orders are delivered with elegant gift wrapping. Rest assured, no pricing information or invoices will be included in the package.
Is it easy to use for beginners?
A visual guide is included with every set, allowing even first-time users to enjoy the experience immediately. Guides are available in English, French, and Japanese—please specify your preference at checkout.
